Holiday Automotive hosted Chevy Youth Baseball Event fundraiser
FOND DU LAC, Wis., May 17, 2018 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Baseball season is here, and not just at the national level, but at the local level here in Fond du Lac too. Every year, Holiday Automotive hosts a Chevy Youth Baseball Event fundraiser in an effort to support local youth baseball, and this year the Fond du Lac dealership had an exciting turnout.
The event was held on Saturday, May 5, and for every participant that test drove one of Chevrolet's newest vehicles, the Fond du Lac dealership made a $20 donation. Along with $500 donated from Chevrolet, the dealership managed to raise $1,500, which will all stay in the community.
The donations went to Fondy Youth Baseball, which is a non-profit organization that promotes boys and girls youth baseball throughout the area for grades K-12. The youth baseball season is already underway in Fond du Lac, and donations from area business and community members help maintain facilities and equipment, provide field time and more. Those looking to provide additional support to the Fondy Youth Baseball organization can make personal donations.
Though the event is over, those still interested in taking a test drive in a new Chevrolet or another model can still do so at Holiday Automotive. With proximity to Interstate 41 and Highway 151, the Fond du Lac-based auto group can serve numerous communities to the south including Beaver Dam and Slinger.
