Holiday Events Featured in Holidays Along the Divine 9 Brochure
(PRWEB) November 14, 2013 -- The Alpharetta and Roswell Convention and Visitors Bureaus have teamed up for the third year in a row to celebrate the holiday season with the 2013 Holidays Along the Divine 9 brochure.
Attractions, businesses and churches adjacent to Highway 9 in the downtown areas of Alpharetta and Roswell who are hosting holiday events from November 1-December 31 are featured in the promotion’s brochure which are available for free at the 11 Georgia Visitor Information Centers and the Alpharetta and Roswell Welcome Centers, sent to both bureaus databases and included in advertising campaigns and distributed to web-based promotions.
“When on vacation, shopping is a priority for many travelers,” said Janet Rodgers, President and CEO of the Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau. “The Holidays Along the Divine 9 campaign gives visitors a reason to come, shop and experience everything Alpharetta and Roswell have to offer during the holiday season. Alpharetta has over 150 dining options, 23 modern and affordable hotels, unique stores such as the American Girl Boutique and Bistro and energetic events that will complete every visitor’s stay.”
Events featured in the brochure include Santa sightings, Christmas services, ghost tours, tree lightings, historic home tours, open houses, historical event reenactments, candy cane hunts, Christmas crafts for children, caroling, special promotions in stores and galleries and opportunities for charitable donations.
