Holland & Hart’s Ashley Wald Receives DU’s Bruce B. Johnson Outstanding Recent Alumni Award
Denver, CO (PRWEB) March 27, 2015 -- Holland & Hart’s Ashley Wald(JD ’05) is the recipient of the University of Denver’s Bruce B. Johnson Outstanding Recent Alumni Award. This award is given to a graduate of the University of Denver Sturm College of Law from the last decade who is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct and is known for his or her outstanding contributions to the legal or greater community.

Her accomplishments are evident in her successful legal practice and also revealed in her commitment to teaching and sharing her knowledge with others,” says Martin Katz, Dean of the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
In her legal practice, Ms. Wald is a corporate partner at Holland & Hart LLP, focused on energy-related transactions, including energy project development, the buying and selling of power, and the purchase and sale of energy companies. She frequently works with clients involved in the solar, wind, and other renewable energy industries.
In addition, Ms. Wald has co-taught courses on renewable energy project development and regulation at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, and regularly teaches national seminars on various renewable energy and utility industry topics. She serves as President of the Holland & Hart Foundation, a non-profit organization that encourages volunteerism among employees, and serves on the Development Committee and Board of Directors of the Dumb Friends League.
Ms. Wald will be recognized together with other University of Denver honorees at the Law Stars annual dinner on October 1, 2015. DU Law Stars is the Sturm College of Law’s annual fundraising event that takes place each fall. This year’s event will be held at the Hyatt Convention Center in Denver. The Bruce B. Johnson award is not an annual award, but is awarded occasionally as deemed appropriate by the Denver Law Alumni Council, the DU Law Stars nominating committee, and the Dean of Denver Law.
