Hollywood is "In The House" As Seen by Artist David Boudreau at the Center Stage Gallery

With a successful 20 year career as an animator working for such production titans as DreamWorks Animation and Warner Bros Studios, David Boudreau has shifted his artistic identity and turned his talent focus from bringing characters to life in animated films to bringing life to celebrities through caricatured portraitures. David's visual indications of the features and personalities of American celebrities has quickly become well known locally and internationally through his online presence where he posts regularly and throughout the animation film industry.
His first exhibition "Faces" at Center Stage Gallery explores caricatures drawn primarily digitally working from the rich collection of American actors and muscians. The show includes caricatures of Paul Neuman, Tom Waits, Alfred Hitchcock, Charles Bronson, Robert Downey Jr., Al Pacino, Clint Eastwood, Jack Nicholson, Jim Henson and many more both framed and unframed. These fun and engaging caricatures have never been exhibited before.
"Faces" at Center Stage Gallery runs from September 20th - October 13th with an opening reception Friday September 20th 7:00pm to 10:00pm. The artist David Boudreau will be in attendance on Friday September 20th at the opening reception and on Saturday September 28th 1:00pm - 4:00pm when he be demonstrating and available for Q+A.

BIO:
David Boudreau was born in Lyn, Massachusetts on August 26, 1969. After moving back with his parents to Nova Scotia, Canada in 1974, David’s interest in drawing started at a very early age and was inherited from his father, Frank Boudreau, a well known Nova Scotia artist in Canada.
In 1987, David moved to Toronto, Ontario and enrolled in a 3 year Classical Animation Program offered at Sheridan College. Since graduating in 1991 and throughout the past 21 years of his career, David has had quite a successful career as an animator, character designer and story board artist at various feature animation and television studios such as DreamWorks Feature Animation, Warner Bros. Feature animation and Nelavana Productions, Inc.
David is currently doing freelance character design for two features in development and is also in the process of publishing a book of his own artwork.
