Hollywood Stars Discuss Addiction, Rehabilitation at Choices Recovery 2016 Sundance EcoLuxe Event in Park City, Utah.
SouthBend, IN (PRWEB) February 04, 2016 -- On January 23rd-24th, 2016, Choices Recovery, a holistic treatment center for addiction located in Central Michigan, travelled to Park City, UT as sponsor of Durkin Entertainment’s EcoLuxe Lounge celebrating the 2016 Sundance Film Festival. Joined by How2Girl Courtney Sixx as guest host of the Choices Recovery Media Center, the rehabilitation center spent the weekend discussing addiction and recovery with dozens of the many Hollywood notables and entertainment industry professionals who visited the EcoLuxe Lounge.
“In fighting this epidemic of addiction that troubles our society today, we must work towards raising awareness about this problem and encourage education on the topic,” commented Choices Recovery founder Per Wickstrom. “We are honored and grateful for this opportunity to once again join our friend Debbie Durkin in her efforts to promote holistic and all-natural products and services focused on leading a healthier lifestyle. We would also like to thank everyone who took a few moments out of their day to speak with us."
The EcoLuxe Lounge, which makes appearances at several red-carpet events throughout the year, including the Oscars and the Emmy Awards, is a gathering of some of the world’s leading providers of all natural eco-friendly goods and services. As a holistic treatment center for substance abuse, Choices Recovery fit well in the EcoLuxe Lounge, which is organized by Debbie Durkin, the industry’s top producer of sustainable product placement in TV and film.
Courtney Sixx, wife of famed musician and songwriter Nikki Sixx of popular bands Mötley Crüe and Sixx:A.M., chatted with many film stars and entertainment professionals, including Aldis Hodge, who starred as MC Ren in the 2015 blockbuster Straight Outta Compton, Sam Neill of Jurassic Park, actor Jason Ritter, son of beloved “Three’s Company” star John Ritter, and Monique Coleman from the High School Musical series, among many, many others. These four interviews, as well as a teaser video, have been released on the Choices Recovery YouTube channel.
The Choices Recovery treatment program, as the name might suggest, is based on the concept that every person is different, and every person seeking help in overcoming addiction will have different needs in a rehabilitation center. Every person has travelled a unique journey through their addiction, and will likewise have a unique journey through recovery. Their program offers several different options for their patients to explore, and without any 30-, 60-, or 90-day timeframe to adhere to, each patient can explore the many choices available to them at their own pace in order to discover the most beneficial rehabilitation strategy for their individual needs.
