Mississauga, ON (PRWEB) February 11, 2015 -- Holmes-Wayne Electric Cooperative replaced their existing system with Survalent Technology’s SCADA system for better database tools and support.
Survalent’s SCADA serves as a portion of a much larger Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) product line providing a complete solution on one platform. The system is based on Windows Server Operating System, and includes several of Survalent's open-system applications.
“We chose Survalent because of the software interface, updates, lower support costs, and the network of other Cooperatives in our state using the system,” states Brian Spencer, System Engineer for Holmes-Wayne.
“Survalent is pleased to have Holmes-Wayne Electric Cooperative join our expanding family of customers in Ohio,” states Steve Strauss, VP of Sales for the Eastern US for Survalent. “Like so many other utilities, Holmes-Wayne will benefit by having better tools for development of the database and screen graphics of their SCADA system.
