Holy Smokestacks! "The Choo Choo Bob Show" Goes National
ST. PAUL, MINN. (PRWEB) July 26, 2013 -- The acclaimed children's program that's all about trains--"The Choo Choo Bob Show"--is extending its reach nationwide through on-demand programming on its YouTube channel. The show currently airs on broadcast television in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minn.
The Minnesota-made live-action program is aimed at children aged three to seven and hearkens back to whole-family-friendly children's television programming like "The Muppets" or "Yo Gabba Gabba." New full-length episodes, music videos and other programming are being added each week--all fun and wholesome entertainment that's perfect for families everywhere.
Each episode features Choo Choo Bob and his human and puppet friends exploring all things train-related. Musical guests drop by to jam with the gang too--including LA-based Latin group Ozomatli and indie rock singer/songwriter Haley Bonar.
"The Choo Choo Bob Show has been so popular locally, in our live shows and on broadcast television, we knew we needed to make it available more broadly," says Bob Medcraft, founder and producer of the show. "Now, with YouTube and our website, we can bring Choo Choo Bob to children everywhere--and parents can feel good knowing that we're offering entertainment they'll enjoy right alongside their kids. How often does that happen?"
The Choo Choo Bob website offers links to shows and videos, and related activities including interactive games. Families can also purchase merchandise like DVDs, CDs and wearables from the online Choo Choo Bob Train Store. Fans may also road trip (or, better yet, ride the rails) to visit the bricks and mortar Choo Choo Bob's Train Store that started it all, in St. Paul, Minn.
"The Choo Choo Bob Show" is a production of Birdhouse Holdings, LLC, founded by Bob Medcraft, producer of the show and creator of Choo Choo Bob's Train Store, and by Bob Vince, the show's executive producer.
