Board of Directors.
As Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer for Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Bechtel has been a member of the hospital’s executive team since 2009. Bechtel brings more than 25 years of progressive nursing and patient care leadership experience to the Home Care Medical board, including practice in community hospitals and academic medical centers. At Froedtert Hospital, Bechtel oversees nursing and patient care services for 22 inpatient units and emergency services. Bechtel led the organization to a second Magnet® designation in 2011. The Magnet Recognition Program®, sponsored by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, recognizes healthcare organizations for nursing excellence and quality patient care.
