Home Performance Coalition Launches Brand Identity
Pittsburgh, PA and Washington, DC (PRWEB) October 15, 2014 -- The Home Performance Coalition (HPC) launched its official brand identity today at the 2014 ACI New England Regional Home Performance Conference in Springfield, MA, unveiling its logo and concept for a new website. The brand identity draws on various elements from the brands of Affordable Comfort, Inc. (ACI) and the National Home Performance Council (NHPC), two organizations that merged earlier this year to create the coalition.
“This is an exciting day for us,” said Brian T. Castelli, HPC’s president and chief executive officer. “The launch of the Home Performance Coalition’s brand is a critical step in our strategic development. We’re very proud of our brand identity, which represents HPC’s commitment to home energy efficiency, to sustainability, to the unification of the many voices of the home performance and weatherization industry, and to our position as the leading resource for industry professionals throughout the country.”
Home performance and weatherization professionals—including contractors, weatherization crews and agencies, HVAC professionals, remodelers, utilities, manufacturers, and beyond—create solutions for comfort, health, and energy efficiency in residential buildings by exploring how buildings use energy and how building materials and appliances affect resource efficiency, air circulation, and moisture.
HPC is currently pursuing strategic affiliations with other key industry partners, including Efficiency First, the business association for America’s home performance industry; Home Energy Magazine, a bi-monthly publication covering topics in residential efficiency and comfort; and the Building Performance Institute (BPI), an organization that develops standards for energy efficiency retrofits, health, and safety work. In the coming months, HPC will release important information about how these affiliations will benefit professionals throughout the industry.
Additionally, HPC is developing a new website at http://www.homeperformance.org that will provide critical resources for industry professionals, including information about upcoming educational and networking events, ongoing research and policy analysis, and industry news.
