The Military Appreciation Program follows in the footsteps of Ohio’s legislative initiative to help military veterans earn professional licenses and find jobs once they leave the service. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the unemployment rate for veterans falls at 6.8% as compared to the national veteran unemployment rate of 6.9% for women and 6.5% for men.
