Honor’s Haven Resort & Spa Hosts 4th Annual Tulip Festival & Mother’s Day Celebration
Ellenville, NY (PRWEB) April 11, 2014 -- For the fourth year in a row, Honor’s Haven Resort & Spa is proud to present its Annual Tulip Festival & Mother's Day Celebration, Sunday, May 11th from 1:00AM – 4:00PM in Ellenville, NY.
The day’s festivities will kick off at 11:00AM with a spectacular collection of vendors offering distinctive handcrafted gifts, keepsakes and even tarot card readings.
While browsing for that perfect Mother’s Day memento, make sure to take a moment to be amazed by Illusionist David Garrity in the Main Lobby from 11:30AM – 12:00PM. David, who has recently performed at the Tropicana Casino in Atlantic City, will keep you on the edge of your seat with a captivating performance, bursting with mind-blowing magic and illusions.
After the show, take advantage of the Resort’s extraordinary Mother’s Day lunch buffet consisting of a mouthwatering compilation of intercontinental cuisine, all to be enjoyed while listening to the musical stylings of Tim Gysin on the piano.
Gysin, who began playing the piano at the tender age of three, earned honors from the London College of music at age five and has been the recipient of several awards during his lifetime. He currently studies music at William Paterson University in New Jersey and looks forward to performing both originals and covers on Mother’s Day.
Also on hand will be musical performances by Big Mountain Entertainment’s Orange No. 9 and Escape From Reality.
Orange No. 9, an alternative rock band from Hopewell Junction, NY, will be offering a raw and authentic performance. Consisting of lead vocals/guitar player Tod Elgnis, bassist/back-up vocals Ryan Megahey and drummer/back-up vocals Cheyenne Moore, this group will be churning out a unique alternative sound loaded with the reverberating power of the Smashing Pumpkins, Foo Fighters, Nirvana and Queens of the Stone Age.
Following Orange No. 9 will be Escape From Reality. Formed in May 2012, Escape From Reality is the embodiment of rock. Hailing from the Pine Bush, NY area, this young and powerful quartet will be delivering an impressive collection of classic rock covers. Consisting of lead vocalist/guitarist Justin, rhythm guitarist Alex, bass player Eric and drummer Travis, Escape From Reality is looking forward to providing a high energy performance that is nothing short of addictive.
Add even more excitement to your day by attending a jewelry auction in the Lower Lobby from 1:30PM – 3:30PM. Presented by Catskill Promotions, this one-day-only auction will afford festival goers the opportunity to purchase genuine diamond and precious stone pieces at a fraction of their retail value.
Members of the EarthMind Wellness Center and the Spa at Honor’s Haven will also be on hand engaging guests with a complimentary yoga class at 10:00AM and complimentary 5-minute chair massages all day long. Additional discounts on memberships and classes will also be available.
