Honoring 32 Years of Past Presidents - Annual Holiday Gala
Oklahoma City, OK (PRWEB) November 22, 2013 -- The Central Oklahoma National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO®) announces the 2013 Holiday Black & White Masked Gala, December 6, 2013, 7:00 p.m., at the Allegiance Credit Union Banquet Hall, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This year’s Holiday Gala will honor the chapter's trailblazing Past Presidents, celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the groundbreaking legislation, HR 5050, the Women’s Business Ownership Act which was signed into law in 1988.
Evening activities will begin with a cocktail style reception where guests will mingle and network amongst business peers and local hospitality vendors, while enjoying sounds provided by MixxxIt Productions Mobile DJ and bid on Silent Auction items. The reception will be followed by a buffet dinner, special recognition of HR 5050 and a red carpet walk and presentation of the chapter's Past Presidents.
Silent Auction donations will benefit the Central Oklahoma NAWBO® Pat Tull Memorial Scholarship, a community fund established to assist emerging Oklahoma Women Business Owners. Pat Tull was an active servant leader in the business community and one of the state's innovative women entrepreneurs who began her handwriting analysis business pre-HR 5050 in the 1970s. NAWBO members valued Pat’s dedication and support as one of the chapter's honored Past Presidents.
The ticket price for the Holiday Gala is $50 per guest while sponsorship opportunities start at $500 and include Hospitality Vendor Sponsorships, Silent Auction Sponsorships, and Event and Chapter Corporate Sponsorships.
