Hospital Fights Breast Cancer with Zumba Party
Metairie LA (PRWEB) September 15, 2015 -- East Jefferson General Hospital, as part of its “Live Pink” initiatives in October will host their 2nd Annual Live Pink Zumbathon! Three Zumba Instructors will lead participants through a fun 90-Minute outdoor Zumba Class. Zumba is the Brazilian inspired fitness/dance craze that has attracted millions of participants world-wide. Any and all fitness levels can participate.

$15 per participant – includes food, beverages, Zumba class and prizes for best dressed, best dancer and more with funds going to The Foundation at EJGH for the fight against breast cancer.

Interview Opportunity: Lucy King, of The Foundation at EJGH is available to appear or be interviewed in conjunction with this event. Lucy has led EJGH’s “Live Pink” programs for two years. Those efforts have included “Zumbathon”, “Merlot and Mammograms”, “Pink Dat” and “Pink Games” hosted by area high schools generating thousands of dollars in attendance and donated fees. She is an enthusiastic, knowledgeable fund-raiser who is committed to helping women in our community access the best prevention, detection and treatment options possible in the fight against breast cancer.
