Hotel Blake is Pleased to Announce the Appointment of Michael Ditterline as the Chicago Hotel’s General Manager
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) November 03, 2014 -- Hotel Blake welcomes a new General Manager. Michael Ditterline will lead the staff at their downtown Chicago Hotel. Ditterline, who will be in charge of the Hotel’s day-to-day operations, brings vast experience in the hospitality industry and the owners of Hotel Blake are thrilled to add him to the team.
Ditterline come to Hotel Blake from his most recent position as Director of Rooms at InterContinental Boston. He held the same position at Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach and The Westin Resort Hilton Head Island. Before that, he worked his way from up from a front desk position at various properties including The Westin William Penn Pittsburgh, and Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers. Ditterline’s experience means that he has a firm grasp on all the moving parts involved in running a hotel like Hotel Blake, and the Chicago Hotel was pleased to offer him the position.
Hotel Blake is located in Downtown Chicago, and it is popular with both business and leisure travelers. Ditterline had success in growing sales and reducing costs in various areas of operation during his tenures at other properties, and Hotel Blake is confident that he can have the same success at this Chicago Hotel.
Ditterline will take over as General Manager of Hotel Blake on November 1, 2014.
