Houston Plastic Surgeon Dr. Camille Cash to Appear on 'Check This Out'

"Even active moms who work out regularly and are in good shape are hesitant to wear bikinis or other clothes that might reveal their midsections," Dr. Cash says. "That's because the abdominal skin often loses its elasticity after being stretched by pregnancy, and no amount of exercise can help."
One of the primary worries tummy tuck patients have is scarring, Dr. Cash says. A tummy tuck incision stretches from hip to hip, but is made low enough that it can be concealed by a bikini bottom. She also says advanced scar prevention treatments greatly reduce the chances of having a raised, very visible scar.
