Houston’s 12K of Christmas Run Announces Tellepsen Family Downtown YMCA as Race Beneficiary
Houston, TX (PRWEB) November 30, 2016 -- RA Sports Management is proud to announce the Tellepsen Family Downtown YMCA is the beneficiary of the 2016 Houston’s 12K of Christmas. The 7.45-mile road race scheduled for December 17, 2016 will start and finish at Fish Plaza at 500 Texas Ave., located in front of the Wortham Theater in downtown Houston. The family friendly Christmas themed fun run includes a timed 12K & 6K with a KidsK run/walk. All participants receive a finisher medal and t-shirt on race day. The festivities include hot cocoa and coffee provided by Katz Coffee, music, a costume contest, a visit from Santa and more.

A portion of proceeds from the 2016 Houston’s 12K of Christmas will benefit the Tellepsen Family Downtown YMCA Annual Fund which helps ensure that the YMCA continues to strengthen the community through outreach programs focused on preventing chronic disease, eliminating drownings and improving the academic performance of our youth. The Tellepsen Family Downtown YMCA is a member of the YMCA of Greater Houston.
