Houston’s Top Real Estate Professionals Recognized at 2014 NAIOP Broker of the Year Awards
Houston, TX (PRWEB) February 19, 2015 -- Two of Houston’s most respected and successful commercial real estate brokers were recognized during the 2014 NAIOP Broker of the Year Awards at River Oaks Country Club for their exceptional professionalism, community involvement, and total value of real estate transactions in 2014 with an emphasis on local tenant representation lease transactions. Lucian Bukowski of CBRE received the Office Broker of the Year award, while Industrial Broker of the Year went to Jonathan Farris of Stream Realty Partners.

Bukowski serves as Executive Vice President on CBRE Houston’s Office Occupier Team. With 15 years of experience in all aspects of tenant representation including corporate headquarter leases, site selection, leasing, and acquisition, Mr. Bukowski has successfully handled his clients’ real estate requirements in more than 400 transactions totaling 7.8 million square feet, including 15 corporate headquarters for public companies, 15 leases over 100,00 square feet and 4 anchor/lead tenant leases for 1,290,000 square feet of new construction.
Farris, Managing Director – Corporate Services of Stream Realty Partners has more than 28 years of experience serving clients in the real estate industry, primarily representing companies in the industrial and manufacturing sectors. As a past Broker of the Year recipient, Mr. Farris has consistently demonstrated that he is a top producer within the industry. He recently represented DNOW L.P. in its 450,000 square-foot lease, valued at over $2.7 million.
Houston’s KPRC Local 2 Sports Director and Anchor, Randy McIlvoy, served as Master of Ceremonies during the event, recognizing the Brokers of the Year, as well as the third annual NAIOP Hall of Fame inductee, B. Kelley Parker III and Industrial and Office Rising Stars – Preston Yaggi of TNRG and Kevin Kushner of CBRE, respectively. Finalists for the Industrial Broker of the Year awards included John Ferruzzo of NAI Partners and Ryan Fuselier of JLL, while Craig Beyer of CBRE, and Andy Iversen of Jackson & Cooksey comprised the finalists for the Office Broker of the Year. In addition, two firms –Cushman & Wakefield, and CBRE– were recognized for noteworthy transactions in 2014.
