LOS ANGELES (PRWEB) January 06, 2016 -- It is said that in the latter years of life the brain surfaces events of the past and forgets the current events. A simple thought may seem insignificant, but when brought in the light, can somehow bring depth to situations. Author, June Davis, can attest to this and because of the past, wrote her book “A Song in the Dark.”
With experiencing many losses in her life, Davis knows what it is like to feel pain. At the age of two, her father died and when she migrated to the United States, her mother passed away. Not to mention that her only son died in 2006. Davis had the choice though: to mourn and enter a room of sadness or enter a room or happiness. She chose happiness and expresses that in “A Song in the Dark.”
“All of the poems in my book are to bring inspiration to many. Sometimes we need to be reminded to saddle up and embrace life as it comes,” Davis said.
“A Song in the Dark” is a collection of poems written by Davis that will allow readers to find peace with nature, the places around them, objects, and people. All of Davis’ poems tell stories filled with sweet and sensuous feelings.
“I hope readers will find peace in whatever aspirations they may posses,” Davis said.
As a book that ties in personal stories and Davis’ faith, “A Song in the Dark” will leave readers inspired to find their passions and to acknowledge their problems and life in a positive way.
