London, England (PRWEB UK) 25 September 2013 -- Mango Bikes are currently taking orders for late September, early October delivery; making now the perfect time for students to create a custom designed city bike and turn heads on their way around campus.
These acclaimed, single speed bikes are available in millions of different eye-catching colour combos, and everything from the frame, saddle and grips to the rims, tyres, chains and pedals can be customised to make a statement. They’re guaranteed to stand out around big cities and university grounds, but there is more to a Mango than just killer good looks.
Even without the unprecedented customisation, this hot new bike brand would likely still be making waves, because bikes this good aren’t usually available for such a modest price tag.
Students are getting a really high quality bike, and they’re not burning through their loan to get it.
Of course, Mango Bikes aren’t only popular with college kids, but they are especially suited to campus life, given that the company was started by a pair of students in the first place.
Founders Ben Harrison and Jezz Skelton were housemates at University when they started the company. Their aim was to develop a bike for getting in and out of school that wouldn’t cost an arm and a leg; but it had to work, and just as importantly, it had to look good.
Because University life is about finding yourself, standing out from the crowd and making a statement, so why settle for the same old bike as everybody? With Mango Bikes, the rider can create their own two-wheeled masterpiece; and thanks to the build quality and craftsmanship their Mango will be with them throughout the Uni experience, and possibly beyond.
In Jezz’s own words, a Mango “isn’t an ordinary bike for getting from A to B, it’s a fashion accessory that you’re proud to be seen with”.
He said: “When we were at University, it didn’t seem right to us that you can buy a car to your exact specification, and find clothes which suit your style, but bikes were only available in a few dull, pre-selected colours.
“So we set up Mango Bikes to put our own stamp on our rides; and now others can too.”
For students, that means gunning to and from classes or exploring new cities during downtime on a bike that they’ve designed themselves; and doing so couldn’t be simpler. A fast and easy design tool is available on the Mango site which does all the hard work itself.
Mango Bikes have already been seen in magazines like Bike Radar, Square Mile and GQ, and they’ve already sold out once due to popular demand. The company is now taking orders for late September, early October delivery, but riders who want to get their order in now to guarantee they make the cut.
