HPI Director of Cyber Security and Compliance, John Ballentine, to Present at 2015 CCUG/STUG Joint Conference
Houston,Texas (PRWEB) April 21, 2015 -- Rotating equipment solutions provider, HPI, announced today that its Director of Cyber Security and Compliance, John Ballentine, has been selected to give a presentation at the 2015 joint conference for the Combined Cycle and Steam Turbine Users Groups.
The presentation will highlight the need for power generation facilities to focus on cyber security risk assessments in an effort to determine the level of threat and vulnerability exposure to their industrial control systems. The presentation, which is geared toward power plant management, will specifically cover: planning a cyber-security risk assessment, testing and offline analysis, conducting an assessment within an industrial control system environment, utilizing cyber risk assessment software, developing mitigation recommendations, planning design, and detailed engineering of security architecture.
The presentation is scheduled for Tuesday, August 25 at the JW Marriott Grande Lakes in Orlando, Florida.
