HS-UK named sole UK distributor for CenterVue 2Win photorefractor
Harlow, Essex (PRWEB UK) 16 December 2013 -- Haag-Streit UK (HS-UK), the leading manufacturer and distributor of gold-standard optometry and ophthalmic equipment, has been named the sole UK distributor for the CenterVue 2WIN photorefractor.
HS-UK gained distributorship of the 2WIN as a direct result of the successful sales of the DRS non-mydriatic camera and MAIA microperimeter.
The 2WIN is a binocular visual screener which measures both eyes at the same time, simulating natural visual conditions. It provides an accurate objective assessment of the visual function without requiring patient co-operation, making it ideal for use in paediatric ophthalmology.
The hand-held 2WIN is light-weight, making it easily portable between clinics. The equipment is quick and very easy-to-use. Within just seven seconds, the 2WIN can measure a variety of conditions binocularly, including; myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, pupil size, inter-pupillary distance, anisocoria and strabismus.
No dilating drops are required for any of the tests and the one metre working distance makes the 2WIN the ideal tool for early detection of refractive errors. Tests can be performed on infants as young as two months old, as well as other non-cooperative patients.
The 2WIN is powered by a rechargeable battery, and can be connected to the users Wi-Fi network or to a wireless printer if required.
