HSMAI to Produce Executive T.H.I.N.K. Events in Cuba and at CES 2017
(PRWEB) September 07, 2016 -- The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association is pleased to announce HSMAI Executive T.H.I.N.K. (Travel & Hospitality Innovation, Networking & Knowledge) programs will take place in Havana, Cuba, December 5 – 8, 2016, and Las Vegas, Nevada, January 5 – 7, 2017, at CES 2017. T.H.I.N.K. programs provide senior hospitality executives an experiential and unique learning opportunity.
“HSMAI has arranged these private, curated tours in Havana and at CES to provide hotel executives access to expertise and experiences that will give them a competitive edge,” said Robert A. Gilbert, CHME, CHBA, president and CEO, HSMAI. “These two HSMAI Executive T.H.I.N.K. tours are unique opportunities for hotel company Chief Marketing Officers, Chief Sales Officers, and Chief Digital Officers who are focused on what lies ahead for the hospitality industry.”
Cuba is an exciting emerging travel destination, and HSMAI is pleased to offer this customized study tour program for hospitality executives. This program will provide participants an exclusive opportunity to experience Havana and learn about the plans for the hospitality industry in Cuba. HSMAI has arranged meetings with the Minister of Foreign Affairs (MINREX), the Minister of Foreign Economic Investment and Economic Cooperation (MINVEC), representatives from the Cuban union that represents hospitality workers, and marketing representatives from hotel companies. Interaction with these local hoteliers will allow participants to learn from each other while understanding the governmental, regulatory, and growth issues impacting the hospitality industry in Cuba. Attendees will also be treated to Havana’s local flavor with a narrated tour of Old Havana, a private cigar event, and unique dining experiences.
In Las Vegas, attendees will experience a curated tour of one of the world’s largest trade shows. The private tour will be led by a senior economist and will include appointments with exhibitors who believe they have innovation with implications for traveling consumers or the hospitality industry in general. Participating executives will also visit C-Space, the CES experience for creative communicators, brand marketers, advertising agencies, digital publishers, and social networks. It tells the story of how content, creativity, technology, and influencers come together to discover new ways to elevate their industry, business, and brand. HSMAI has partnered with the Consumer Electronics Association to produce this private curated tour for hotel executives at CES 2017 – a vibrant event with more than 3600 exhibitors that annually brings the global technology community together to assess, connect, and transact.
Find out more and register for HSMAI Executive T.H.I.N.K. – Cuba on December, 5 – 8, 2016. Attendees are encouraged to register no later than September 15 to allow ample time for visa applications to be processed.
