Hugoton USD 210 Takes Timekeeping to the Cloud with Harris School Solutions
Hugoton, KS (PRWEB) April 10, 2014 -- Harris School Solutions is pleased to announce that Hugoton USD 210 is the first client to upgrade from Attendance Enterprise to Attendance on Demand.
Attendance on Demand (AOD) is a cloud-based time and attendance service for highly secure, cost-effective labor management. AOD can be accessed on a web browser from any location, which means there is no software to purchase, and no upfront investments in licenses, servers, or hardware.
Hugoton USD 210, comprised of four schools with over 1,138 students, has utilized Harris’ Attendance Enterprise since 2005. The decision to upgrade to AOD was based on the assurance that the new system would integrate seamlessly with their current Harris accounting solution, AptaFund.
Robyn Medina, Human Resources Director, stated, “Our previous system was held on a server and the server was getting very old, so we made the decision to upgrade for this reason.”
Attendance on Demand will enable Hugoton employees to stay informed with user-friendly real-time dashboards which display the essential labor information needed on a daily basis. Because AOD is web-based, Hugoton employees are empowered to access the information they need which minimizes inquiries to the HR department for attendance and benefit related information.
When asked if she would recommend AOD to other schools, Ms. Medina said, “I would recommend Attendance on Demand simply because it is easy to learn and navigate. I am a new employee and learned it very quickly.”
Hugoton USD 210 has been part of the Harris family since 2005. They currently utilize AptaFund, Attendance on Demand, and go.edustar to meet the needs of the district.
