New York, MD (PRWEB) April 27, 2016 -- Second beauty contest, where humans are judged by Artificial Intelligence Beauty.AI 2.0 launches. Robot judgement day is set for 01.08.2016.

People are encouraged to download the free Beauty.AI 2.0 mobile app in either the Google Play market or Apple App Store and algorithm developers should reach out to the organizers through a form on the http://beauty.ai/ website.

Beauty.AI 1.0 was covered by the leading reporters and journalists at New Scientist, Techcrunch, Cosmopolitan, GQ, Yahoo! Beauty and others.

When we were launching the first Beauty.AI contest, we did not realize how popular it would become and how many programmers were interested in developing algorithms to analyze and rank human beauty.

Beauty.AI 2.0 will provide valuable prizes for both human competitors and robot jury members. Various prizes will be awarded to human contest winners. In addition to prizes from sponsors, monetary prizes of $1,500 will be awarded to winners in 20-29 and 60+ age groups. Three prizes of $1,000 will be awarded to teams developing algorithms for evaluating human attractiveness.

The contest is supported and sponsored by some of the most innovative companies from all over the world, Imagene Labs, one of the pioneers in customized wellness and lifestyle solutions from Asia, Insilico Medicine, Inc, one of the leaders in artificial intelligence for drug discovery and aging research, Klinikk Oslo, one of the most innovative healthcare clinic networks in Norway, Nvidia, Model Alliance and several large cosmetics companies that will be announced at a later date.

I am sure that in a decade contests, where humans are judged by artificial intelligence will be commonplace. Beauty contests are driven by vanity and leadership drive. Unfortunately, people often use wrong metrics to rank each other and often these metrics involve money. Developing algorithms that start from analyzing visual appearance and then go deeper into your health status and then into your personality, is one of my goals. One day people will use robots to distinguish right from wrong and if you enroll your algorithm into the robot jury today, even if it relies on simple logic, you will be making history“, said Anastasia Georgievskaya, General Manager at Youth Laboratories.

Beauty.AI 2.0 will make major efforts to encourage algorithm developers to explore new approaches for evaluating human attractiveness and suggest new algorithmic ways to rank humans. Individual developers and teams worldwide are invited to test their algorithms on the Beauty.AI 1.0 and 2.0 data sets.

Participants of Beauty.AI 1.0 will automatically be enrolled into Beauty.AI 2.0 and will be ranked in the context of new entrants.

I hope that Beauty.AI contests will help us find answers to many questions from basic healthcare and wellness to the most important question: how will the robots judge us? About Beauty.AI
Beauty.AI is the first beauty contest judged entirely by an all-robot jury, and where humans are evaluated by a variety of algorithms and approaches. Every six months this platform will open submissions for multiple developers of beauty-ranking algorithms to train and test their systems.

The contest originally started as a project of Youth Laboratories, a team of computer scientists and biogerontologists dedicated to finding new ways to slow down or even reverse the many processes associated with aging and leading to age-related diseases.
