Hun School Receives $500,000 Matching Challenge Gift; Campus Center Named in Honor of the Breen Family
Princeton, NJ (PRWEB) January 26, 2014 -- Headmaster Jonathan Brougham announced last week, that The Hun School has received a $500,000 matching challenge gift from School trustee Lynn Breen and her husband Ed Breen. Mr. and Mrs. Breen have generously offered to match, dollar-for-dollar, up to $500,000 in new gifts or pledges of $10,000 or more to the Global Commons - a new Campus Center and resident hall facility currently under construction on the Hun School campus.
The challenge, if successfully matched, will yield $1 million in new commitments to the project and complete funding for the new building, scheduled to open in the fall. In recognition of the Breen's challenge gift and their previous financial support of the Global Commons, The Hun School will name the central gathering space in the 30,000 sq. ft. facility The Breen Campus Center.
