Hunter Douglas Introduces New GreenScreen® Evolve™ Fabrics
Poway, Calif. (PRWEB) April 01, 2015 -- Hunter Douglas Contract has expanded its collection of high-performance window shading fabrics with the introduction of GreenScreen® Evolve™ roller shade fabric. Made of PVC-free polyester, GreenScreen® Evolve™ fabrics contain up to 78% Repreve® recycled content.
Manufactured in the USA, GreenScreen® Evolve™ features a diamond knit pattern, which provides a clean view-through and enhanced durability for ease of handling and installation. Product designers partnered with a team of architects to develop a modern palette that comprises nine warm and cool neutral colors.
GreenScreen® Evolve™ uses Repreve® fibers, which are made from 100% recycled materials – a combination of post-industrial and post-consumer plastic waste. In comparison to virgin polyester production, Repreve® reduces water consumption by nearly 50%, energy consumption by over 6%, and greenhouse gas emissions by over 34%.
