Husted Kicking Completes Third Annual Husted Kicking College Senior Combine
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) February 11, 2016 -- Husted Kicking has completed its Third Annual Husted Kicking College Senior Combine which was held in San Diego, CA, on February 6th & 7th, 2016 according to kicking coach Michael Husted.
“This event serves as an official alternate NFL combine for those who were not invited to the NFL’s combine in Indianapolis,” says Husted. “The NFL uses a third party organization to select players for their combine, thus overlooking many talented prospects.”
Husted says that his College Senior Combine helps those “overlooked” players have a chance to be seen by many of the NFL team representatives. He says that with each year the Husted Kicking College Senior Combine has been held, the talent, and the signings, just keeps growing.
“The numbers and talent seem to grow each year,” says Husted. “In just our first two College Senior Combines, we have been instrumental for getting specialists signed immediately after the draft and/or brought into rookie mini-camps.”

Husted says that as part of the Husted College Senior Combine, a proper mental and kicking/punting specific program is introduced.
“In the NFL, being able to make a roster and play for several years needs a professional attitude, dedication and discipline,” says Husted. “At the end of the weekend, players have received a great understanding of what is expected to play at the highest level.”

Michael Husted is a retired 9 Year NFL Kicker. Michael’s consistency on field goals and power on kick offs won him the job as an undrafted rookie. Michael went on to have a successful rookie season where he was named to Football Digest’s All Rookie team.
