Golf-themed attractions will be featured around the hotel in Cambridge, including a golf cart in the lobby and a ballroom beverage cart with drinks and snacks. Golfboard, the fun and environmentally friendly golf cart alternative, will be at the resort throughout the weekend. And guests of all ages will love screenings of classic movies like Caddyshack and Happy Gilmore at Dive-In movies.
For the serious golf enthusiast, the Saturday, March 19 River Marsh Golf Club expo will offer professional swing analysis with personalized videos, a “Get a Grip” club re-gripping station, golf club demos, and access to the latest name-brand golf apparel and equipment presented by Nike, Titleist, PING, TaylorMade, and other leading vendors. A golf simulator/launch monitor will give players detailed insight into their strengths and address areas for improvement. This wall-to-wall golf weekend isn’t just for the experts. The “Starting New at Golf” (SNAG) program will introduce kids to the game by teaching fundamental skills in a fun and relaxed setting. An indoor mini-golf course in the resort’s Chesapeake Ballroom will keep golf lovers of all skill levels occupied, and competitions for all ages, including hole-in-one and long drive contests, will take place during our Icebreaker Open.
