Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa Gives Back for Hyatt's Community Service Month
(PRWEB) April 15, 2015 -- http://clearwaterbeach.hyatt.com/en/hotel/our-hotel.html Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort is celebrating the brand’s fifth Community Service Month this April, as it prepares to give back to the local community and foster a better environment for visitors and guests. The iconic resort is also proud to announce its adoption of a local island which they work to keep clean and trash-free.
To celebrate Hyatt’s Community Service Month, the hotel will be encouraging its staff to volunteer with several local initiatives that are dedicated to creating a better environment for Clearwater by helping those in need within the community. Hyatt plans to make this April the brand’s most impactful Community Service Month to date, with hopes to exceed last year’s 16,000 volunteer hours dedicated by colleagues in 192 hotels across 32 countries. Volunteers from the “Little Hotel with a Big Heart” will be sporting their Hyatt Thrive t-shirts to show Hyatt’s dedication to serving the local community.
This year, volunteers from http://clearwaterbeach.hyatt.com/en/hotel/our-hotel.html Hyatt Regency Clearwater will have the opportunity to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity on April 14th, the Homeless Emergency Project on April 15th or Eckard Raising Hope on April 30th. Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to building homes for those in need throughout Clearwater and across the U.S., while the Homeless Emergency Project is committed to providing the homeless with housing, food and support services to help them attain self-sufficiency and improve their quality of life. Eckard’s Raising Hope program provides children entering foster care with emergency supplies including clothing, toiletries and more to help foster opportunities and hope for young children.
The resort has also adopted a local island in Clearwater, named Hy’d Away Island, which staff and volunteers visit each month to remove trash and other debris. This is just one of the many ways the resort is giving back to the environment and helping to keep Clearwater clean, safe and sustainable for years to come.
