HYSKORE® Announces the exciting DEAD EYE® Shooting Stick System

The Dead Eye® can be deployed as a bi pod or tri pod and has the added advantage of having leg extensions to permit shooting from sitting, kneeling or prone but also, being able to comfortably support the gun for shooters over 6’ tall. All conventional systems use some type of a V or U notch to support the gun. The HYSKORE® Dead Eye® has a foam padded V notch and in addition a padded vise that firmly grips the gun and allows for both elevation and traversing. In its tripod configuration, both with and without the leg extensions, it is rock solid and allows the shooter to solidly focus on the sights and the target without any extraneous movement. All gun contact surfaces are padded with EVA (Ethyl Vinyl Acetate) foam to protect the finish of the gun. The vise that grips the gun is an engineering marvel. Operating one ambidextrous knob both engages and disengages the vise with a spring loaded positive return mechanism. The vise attaches to the rest with a unique hinge and swivel system that permits stable elevation and traversing. This means that the shooter can comfortably track moving targets such as white tailed deer or coyotes. The vise has been designed to accommodate guns such as Winchester model 70, Remington 700, or a Weatherby Mark V but will also support semi-automatic, lever action, pump action and Colt AR-15 platforms. In addition, the vise can exert enough force to retain a 7-8lb gun without the assistance of the shooter. This means that the gun can be set at optimum balance as opposed to repositioning for the initial shot which would be the case with a V notch. Removable ground spikes that provide traction on soil or turf are an added feature. The Dead Eye® will enhance shot placement while hunting in the field or sighting in at the rifle range.
