The ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System certification is awarded to companies focused on strong customer support, planning, leadership, a dedicated approach to quality, fact based decision-making, mutually beneficial supplier relationships and continual improvement. The formal assessment of i-lighting’s process control procedures were performed by an accredited third-party organization and included a stringent review of every phase of business ranging from documentation and production to employee relations and customer service. This was performed at i-lighting’s new 4,650 sq. ft facility, which officially held its grand opening in September 2013.
In addition to these accomplishments, earlier this year, i-lighting was named the Governor’s Cup Grant Award Winner in the inaugural InvestMaryland Challenge, a national business competition held by the State to honor innovative, early-stage business services operating in the life sciences and high tech industries.
