IAGC Names Its First Female President in Organization’s History
Houston, TX (PRWEB) June 30, 2015 -- The International Association of Geophysical Contractors (IAGC) Board of Directors today announced that Nikki Martin will be the organization’s new President. Martin is the first female President in the association’s 44-year history and the first to lead an international oil and gas trade association.
Roger Keyte, Chairman of the IAGC Board of Directors said, “The Board and I wanted the organization to have a new and fresh direction. We are very confident in our selection of Nikki Martin. We believe that under her leadership, the IAGC will become an even stronger association and deliver even more value to our membership.”
Martin served as the IAGC’s Vice President for Government and Legal Affairs. She is a seasoned legal professional with years of experience working with government regulators globally. Before coming to IAGC, Martin worked as the Regulatory and Legal Affairs Manager at the Alaska Oil & Gas Association (AOGA) and previously practiced law in Anchorage, Alaska. Martin currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Western Resources Legal Center.
Along with naming Martin as the President, the Board also promoted Walt Rosenbusch to the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Rosenbusch brings to the IAGC more than 25 years of public and private sector experience and expertise in federal and state oil and gas upstream regulatory activities. Rosenbusch served as Director of the Minerals Management Service at the U.S. Department of the Interior, where he was directly responsible for the management of federal mineral revenue and outer continental shelf (OCS) leasing and administration programs.
