IBTS and the Oklahoma Municipal League (OML) Team to Provide Local Government Solutions
Ashburn, VA (PRWEB) July 09, 2015 -- The Institute for Building Technology and Safety (IBTS) has partnered with the Oklahoma Municipal League (OML) through their not-for-profit arm, Oklahoma Municipal Services Corporation (OMSC) to offer a suite of services to member cities and towns. OML is leading the way for other municipal leagues to offer local government solutions to their members.
OMSC signed a master agreement with IBTS in April of 2015, allowing interested member cities and towns the opportunity to contract services in an a la carte manner. By providing this kind of flexibility, IBTS can assist cities and towns of all sizes with a range of needs, from augmentation to providing the full building department functions. Services offered under this agreement include Building Department Services, Floodplain Management, Stormwater Services, Property Maintenance, Accessibility Reviews, Fire Code Reviews, GOVmotusTM Software, and Planning and Zoning Services.
Each interested jurisdiction will work directly with IBTS to identify the services needed now and in the future. Once jurisdictions sign a Service Agreement, they are able to request services, paying a fee only when services are performed. This type of flexibility gives jurisdictions the opportunity to provide quick turnaround when needed.
