iCardiac Acquires Clinical Trials Division of nSpire Health
Rochester, NY (PRWEB) August 06, 2015 -- iCardiac Technologies, a global provider of cardiac safety assessment services to the pharmaceutical industry, announced today that it has added leading respiratory and ePRO services to its suite of offerings through the acquisition of the clinical trials division of nSpire Health. As part of the transaction, iCardiac has also opened a new office in Longmont, Colorado, to accommodate the project management, data management, customer support, IT, technology development and business development teams that are joining iCardiac from nSpire Health.
nSpire Health has conducted over 225 clinical trials during the past decade, providing centralized spirometry, pulmonary diagnostics, challenge testing, eDiary and data management services for Phase I-IV studies. It has worked with over 5,400 investigative sites in 55 countries. “iCardiac and nSpire have worked side-by-side as closely-integrated partners for over five years and on over 20 clinical trials”, said Alex Zapesochny, president & CEO of iCardiac. “That working relationship confirmed for us that the people, solutions and technologies of nSpire are second-to-none. No financial terms of the deal were disclosed. The transaction is effective immediately.
