Ice Cream Company Unites to Feed America
Provo, UT (PRWEB) November 29, 2013 -- This December, Sub Zero Ice Cream & Yogurt, will bring holiday cheer to cities across America by donating cans of food to local food banks. Throughout the entire month, customers who bring a can of food to participating Sub Zero stores will receive $1 off any small, medium or large ice cream. On Dec. 18, customers who bring in a can between 3-8 p.m. will receive free ice cream.
Every year, food banks need canned supplies for Americans who are in need, especially around the holiday season. Since Sub Zero has expanded to 30 stores throughout the U.S., it is a great opportunity to give back on a broader scale. Each Sub Zero store will donate all canned goods to local food banks to directly benefit communities in the surrounding areas.
“As our company continues to prosper and grow, we want to make a difference on a larger scale,” said Jerry Hancock, CEO of Sub Zero Ice Cream & Yogurt. “We are now an international company and our influence is increasing constantly. Sub Zero will be known not only for its delicious ice cream, but for our hard work and caring attitude for those in need.”
The food drive campaign will begin December 1 and end on December 31. Every day during the month, customers can bring in a can of food and they will receive $1 off any small, medium or large ice cream. As a special event, Sub Zero stores will also give free ice cream to customers who bring a can to the store on December 18 from 3-8 p.m. Please check your local Sub Zero store for participation information and help Sub Zero Ice Cream & Yogurt feed America one hungry person at a time.
