ICMA-RC Appoints David Tanguay as Senior Vice President, Client Services
WASHINGTON, D.C. (PRWEB) June 19, 2015 -- ICMA-RC, a Washington, D.C.-based financial services corporation that administers retirement plans and provides related services for more than one million public sector participant accounts, is pleased to announce the appointment of David Tanguay as Senior Vice President, Client Services. He reports to ICMA-RC Senior Vice President, Chief Operations & Marketing Officer Gregory J. Dyson.
Mr. Tanguay, who assumed his new role on June 15, oversees ICMA-RC’s Client Services Division, and manages record keeping and administration services for the more than 9,000 public sector retirement plans and over one million participant accounts administered by ICMA-RC. In addition, Mr. Tanguay oversees ICMA-RC’s financial planning program. His team comprises more than 280 client services associates. Mr. Tanguay replaces Kristine Heurich, who retired on June 12, after 28 years at ICMA-RC.

Prior to his appointment, Mr. Tanguay served as Vice President of Technical Operations within the Client Services Division and, in that capacity, provided management direction to ICMA-RC’s record keeping operations. He joined ICMA-RC in 1990 as Manager, 401 Operations.
Mr. Tanguay earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida, and a master’s in business administration from the University of Maryland. Mr. Tanguay is a FINRA Series 6 and 63 registered representative, as well as a Series 26 and 27 Principal. He is a Certified Retirement Counselor and holds the designations of Tax-Exempt and Governmental Plans Consultant, Certified Business Continuity Professional, Certification in Control Self-Assessment and Certification in Risk Management Assurance.
