ImageTrend EDS Conference Reveals More Innovation
Lakeville, MN (PRWEB) July 19, 2013 -- After three days of education, conversations and networking, the 5th Annual ImageTrend EDS Conference has come to an end. Nearly 300 attendees gathered in Bloomington, Minn. to learn more about the ImageTrend software that benefits emergency preparedness, emergency response, fire safety and patient care providers across the country.

This year was marked by several announcements and new product debuts. ImageTrend Billing Bridge™ was among the new products debuted. The new solution revolutionizes the billing process for patient care providers. Current ImageTrend EMS Service Bridge™ or Rescue Bridge™ clients who are self-billers will benefit from the high level of integration Billing Bridge has with ePCR records. The integration speeds up the billing process for a higher reimbursement yield from fewer rejected claims.
One of the most significant announcements was a preview glimpse at ImageTrend’s Elite Platform Initiative, which is a new platform for data collection and sharing for EMS, fire safety, hospital patient management and emergency management professionals, and it helps patient care providers transition to NEMSIS 3 reporting.
Another development that was announced at the conference is availability of even more powerful reporting capabilities that will be part of the Visual Informatics reporting package. The new enhancements will provide a fully interactive view of even broader sets of data. Rather than simply creating tabular reports or a chart, users can analyze their data through visual charting for a greater depth of understanding.
The 2013 conference represents the fourth consecutive year of growth in attendance. Based on preliminary projections and survey responses, the company anticipates even greater conference attendance in 2014 to coincide with additional organizations currently in the contractual phase and repeat attendance trends.
