Imagination Playground Announces New "Vote for Play" Giveaway
New York, New York (PRWEB) January 19, 2015 -- Beginning Monday, January 19, 12:00 p.m. ET, schools and organizations can rally their memberships to VOTE for their organization to be awarded a free playground. Individuals VOTE for their school or organization and can place their ballot once per day through the campaign period, which ends on Wednesday March 11, 11:00 p.m. ET. The winning organization (one with the most votes) will be announced on Friday, March 13, 2015.
The VOTE for Play program is open to schools, daycare centers, children’s museums (nature, science, or discovery center), community center, park or other children’s organizations. “We have seen schools and children’s organizations unite in a common effort to bring an Imagination Playground to their community. With over 9900 organizations participating in our last campaign, we expect an overwhelming number of votes for this one. We wish them all the best in their efforts and we look forward to awarding a playground to a deserving school or organization” shared Imagination Playground President, Dave Krishock.
The last VOTE for Play campaign awarded a new playground to Teunis G. Bergen Public School 9, a public elementary school based in Brooklyn, New York. The school won the campaign in November, 2014 and received their playground in December.
