Imagine Children's Festival set to kick off
(PRWEB UK) 27 January 2014 -- London is set to play host to 2014’s Imagine Children's Festival - sponsored by leading online literature retailer the Book People - next month, with an exciting range of events planned for the occasion.
Taking place from February 10th to 23rd at London's Southbank Centre, Imagine Children's Festival is a festival designed for kids, by kids. Some of the biggest names in children's literature will be putting in an appearance - with Children's Laureate Malorie Blackman discussing new novel Noble Conflict on February 15th, best-selling author Jacqueline Wilson appearing on the 18th and Michael Rosen's The Great Enormo hitting Southbank Centre on February 22nd.
Perhaps the biggest event of this year's Imagine Children's Festival is the Red House Children's Book Award ceremony, which will take place on February 22nd and is set to be attended by a number of high-profile children's authors.

The Red House Children's Book Award is the only children's literature award both nominated by and voted for solely by readers themselves - and this year's fun-filled ceremony is set to feature appearances by shortlisted authors including Alex T Smith, Julia Donaldson, Jennifer Gray and Rachel Bright.
