Imagine, Create and Share - Christie Stretches the Boundaries of Possibility at NAB 2015 with Industry-Leading Solution Lineup
Las Vegas, Nevada (PRWEB) April 13, 2015 -- Christie® is setting a new visual display standard at NAB 2015 in Las Vegas, April 13 – 16, with solutions stretching the imagination and the boundaries of possibility while delivering the performance and affordability demanded by the market.
Launching at NAB is the new Christie D Series 3LCD single-lamp digital projector series with brightness ranges of 6000-8000 lumens and 10,000:1 contrast ratio. A new 0.38:1 Ultra Short Throw lens (UST) with an all-glass element lens for both Christie D Series* and Christie Q Series, will also debut. The Christie UST lenses offer greater thermal stability and reduced image drift compared to lenses using plastic lens elements for greater flexibility in designing panoramic multi-projector displays, while providing high brightness and lifelike images.
Not to be missed is the Christie Innovation Theater where - using RGB laser technology in a large, open theater - Christie will demonstrate Rec2020 content and 60,000 lumens of brilliant light using 3P laser. Rec2020 color provides a better representation of real world color than the commonly used color spaces for television and cinema.
The Christie booth - SL 6817 - also features the Christie Spyder and coolux Pandoras Box display area where the two powerful technologies will work together to create stunning visuals. Now a Christie company, coolux and its Pandoras Box media and show control system have been used for more than a decade in major award shows, concerts, broadcasts, 360-degree projection and more. Located only steps from the Christie booth, the coolux booth - SL 5329 - will also highlight the Christie QuadHD84 panel along with Pandoras Box. The award-winning Pandoras Box media server is renowned for its real-time 3D compositing and editing. The 4K capable server offers dual and quad 3G HD/SDI outputs and synchronization to external audio and video sources for on-air pre- and post-production.
Making its North American debut is the Christie Boxer 4K30 and the Christie H Series projector line. Delivering unrivaled brightness for its size and weight, the Christie Boxer 4K30 is a powerhouse projector designed for high-impact rental staging and large venue events. Weighing only 150 pounds, Christie Boxer is the brightest, lightest and smallest 30,000 lumen projector in its class and delivers an unprecedented user experience.
From boardrooms to auditoriums, the Christie H Series is an extremely versatile 1DLP® projector and can be installed in either portrait or landscape mode. Light, quiet, and featuring 12,000 lumens, Christie H Series offers excellent color reproduction, long life dual lamps, built-in warping and blending and advanced color correction.
Other solutions lighting up the Christie booth will be an impressive 19-foot by 5-foot Christie VelvetLED array, Christie FHD651-T 65-inch LCD touch displays, and Christie Entero HB 70-inch front-access rear-projection display cubes.
Also on display are the Christie Phoenix® and the Christie Brio presentation space. A network distributed open content management system, Christie Phoenix enables access and control of audio-visual data, regardless of the user’s location. It can simultaneously encode, decode, and display any source of audio/visual information found in a control room environment. Christie Brio allows users to virtually meet, share information and collaborate effortlessly, while overcoming geographical distances, and eliminating the challenge of single and multi-site workplace meetings.
Christie technology all over NAB
Besides the coolux booth, Christie quality will be seen in numerous other locations at NAB this year. AutoDesk will feature the Christie D4K2560 projector while another Christie D4K2560 and theRoadster HD20K projectors will be at the Quantel booth. The multiple award-winning Christie®MicroTiles® will be featured at the Chyron booth along with the Christie FHD552-X, Christie HD14K-M, and Christie WU12K-M projectors.
