Imagined Interprises’ Campaign to Remaster Larry Elmore’s SnarfQuest Enters Final Week
Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) April 29, 2014 -- On March 27, Imagined Interprises, Inc. launched a 40-day Kickstarter campaign to bring renowned fantasy artist Larry Elmore’s creation SnarfQuest back to life. A mere eight days later, the project hit its funding goal, and in order to further reward backers for their support, Imagined Interprises, Inc. instituted a series of stretch goals for the project. The first stretch goal, set at $15,000, has now been reached.
Every person to back SnarfQuest, regardless of the size of the pledge, will now receive an eBook copy of Farmers & Mercenaries- Book One of the Genesis of Oblivion Saga by Maxwell Alexander Drake. Drake, a well-known fantasy novelist and lifelong Elmore fan whose works are published by Imagined Interprises, Inc., is the driving force behind the 30th anniversary project and is partnering with Elmore to make it a reality.
SnarfQuest, a popular graphic novel, was featured in Dragon Magazine throughout the late 1980’s and early 1990’s. The goal of this project is to not only bring the graphic novel back to its original fans but to also create an entirely new generation of fans.
“We’re extremely grateful for the support we’ve received so far,” said Drake. “Fans are showing they are just as excited as we are to bring SnarfQuest back to life.”
To date, the project has received $17,300 in funding from backers. Continuing on it’s current trend, SnarfQuest is on track to raise over 200% of its funding goal before the campaign draws to a close. With six days left in the campaign, a funding level of $20,000 is the next milestone. At that $20,000 level, backers who pledged $30 and signed up to receive the project collector’s coin will see the coin upgraded in size from 1” to 2."
“We think the $20,000 goal is a really fun one,” said Drake. “There aren’t many collectors coins with a 2” diameter, and the fact that it’s a full-color SnarfQuest coin makes it even more unique. It’s like being part of an exclusive club.”
