Immedia Integrated Technologies Chosen for Major Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino Resort Expansion
Phoenix, Ariz. (PRWEB) August 28, 2017 -- Immedia Integrated Technologies, a Phoenix audio-visual firm, is pleased to announce that they have been awarded the AV component of Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino Resort’s ongoing renovation. This $100 million major renovation and expansion includes several phases, and the completed expansion should be unveiled in late 2018 or early 2019.
The design-build RFP went out to numerous firms in Arizona as well as out of state. Through several rounds of interviews, industry references, manufacturer certification, and professional bios, Immedia was chosen by the Sundt|Yates joint venture to engineer the design to completion and install, program, and certify the project.
The project is owned and managed by the Ak-Chin Indian community and contains new work that includes landscaping, parking garage, high-rise hotel tower, and two-story bingo and ballroom space. Expansion to the existing casino includes the addition of numerous restaurants; additional gaming floor; new housekeeping office facility, outdoor pool, and lazy river; and renovation of the existing casino space and back-of-house spaces.
Sundt|Yates is the design-builder and TBE Architects, out of St. Louis, Mo., is the architect. Major consultants include Hunter Engineering (civil), MSA (MEP), PKA (structural), and SmithGroupJJR (landscape).
