The AXIS A1001 is a completely open, non-proprietary network door controller built on a flexible platform. The device can be powered by the network (PoE support) which significantly decreases the cost of installation by leveraging the site's existing network and reduces the amount of cables needed. AXIS A1001 door controllers can be used in both small and enterprise installations, and IS2000 integrates with the Axis controller using its open application programming interface (API).
