Inc. Magazine Unveils 36th Annual List of America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies—the Inc. 5000
Plano, TX (PRWEB) September 16, 2017 -- Inc. magazine ranked JP & Associates Realtors (JPAR) NO. 586 on its 36th annual Inc. 5000, the most prestigious ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment— its independent small and midsized businesses. Companies such as Microsoft, Dell, Domino’s Pizza, Pandora, Timberland, LinkedIn, Yelp, Zillow, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees of the Inc. 5000.
Placement on the list is based on three-year sales growth, with a minimum growth of ten-fold to make the list at all. Over the past three years, JPAR’s sales have grown 750 percent, placing them well within the top 600 fastest-growing companies in the nation.
“At the brokerage, we’re always talking about two important things: productivity and service,” said JP Piccinini, JPAR CEO. “We credit a lot of our success to our company culture, which is based on those two qualities. Having grown over 700 percent in the last three years, JPAR is in excess of $1 billion. With operations all over Texas, including DFW, San Antonio, Austin, and Houston, the company plans to expand outside of Texas for future growth. As the company nears the end of its 3rd quarter, Piccinini says JPAR is looking to close about $1.7 billion, with a 60 percent growth from 2016. JPAR also ranked in the Dallas Business Journal’s Top 20 Largest North Texas Residential Real Estate Brokerages, yet again, this year.
As the company continues to grow in size and sales, the JPAR CEO has high hopes for the company to make the 2018 Inc. 500 list next year. For now, he relishes in its high ranking among the 5000.

Methodology
The 2017 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2013 to 2016. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2013. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2016. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2013 is $100,000; the minimum for 2016 is $2 million.
