Incognito Software Accelerates Provisioning and Service Activation for Com Hem
Vancouver, BC (PRWEB) September 09, 2014 -- Incognito Software, a global provider of broadband software provisioning and service activation solutions, today announced that Com Hem, the largest cable operator in Sweden, is deploying Broadband Command Center, Service Activation Center, and Auto Configuration Server from Incognito Software to provision, activate, and manage IP addresses for the cable operator’s more than 800,000 subscribers. In addition to helping prepare Com Hem networks for an IPv6 migration that will provide enhanced security, IP mobility, and application functionality, the Incognito Software products will also assist the cable operator as it rolls out “TV everywhere” services that will allow subscribers to view and control their television services on multiple devices.
As Sweden’s largest cable operator, Com Hem provides television, high-speed broadband, and fixed-telephony services that reach 1.83 million homes around the country. The cable operator recognized the need to replace its existing legacy systems, with a solution that could reliably manage its existing services while also handling the rapid rollout of new ones.
Com Hem is now using a trio of solutions from Incognito Software. Broadband Command Center seamlessly provisions voice and data services while also supporting the latest standards, including IPv6. Service Activation Center helps increase network efficiency and reduces operational costs by rapidly bringing new devices online. When combined with the TR-069 device provisioning, advanced troubleshooting, and monitoring capabilities of Auto Configuration Server, these three tools will help Com Hem Cable decrease its support costs while accelerating time-to-revenue for new service deployments.
“In order to survive and thrive in this new world of multi-service and multi-device homes, operators like Com Hem must be able to provision and activate services quickly, while still being cognizant of costs,” said Stephane Bourque, CEO of Incognito Software. “Adopting a scalable, automated solution that also offers a more detailed analysis of their network can help providers minimize service disruptions, and our flexible pricing models and dedicated customer support allow us to work individually with each of our customers to ensure that they have all the tools they need to provide the best possible experience for their subscribers.”
Globally, Incognito Software currently provisions more than 110 million subscribers. The company offers a wide range of feature-rich software that is ideal for service providers that need room to grow. For more information, visit http://www.incognito.com, or follow us on Twitter at @incognito_sfwr.
