Incontinence Accessory for Men Invented by InventHelp Client (HLW-1709)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) December 19, 2016 -- The millions of adults who suffer from incontinence can attest to the many negative side effects from having to wear protective underwear. Although such items are designed to assist them with dealing with their bladder problems, the need to utilize such items can greatly diminish quality of life.
One of the more serious consequences of incontinence is the incidence of skin irritations resulting from urine resting against the skin for an extended period of time. An inventor from Miami, Fla., was inspired to invent the patent-pending URINE BUDDY after becoming the primary caregiver for his bedridden father. "I wanted to invent something that would prevent the urine from leaking out of his protective underwear," said the inventor. "It was necessary for reducing the risk of bed sores." He then created a prototype for URINE BUDDY.
The invention can come in a variety of sizes to accommodate men of all shapes. This invention provides added comfort and protection, preventing urine from leaking out of the protective underwear and onto the bedding of clothing.
The original design was submitted to the Hollywood/Miami office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
