San Diego, CA (PRWEB) August 03, 2014 -- Independent broker-dealer, Independent Financial Group, LLC (IFG) announced today the addition of Jason Benham, Director of Retirement Services and Practice Development. Mr. Benham is responsible for with all services relating to retirement planning for IFG’s over 500 financial advisors. Additionally, he will develop business growth strategies and analyses of branch infrastructures.

Most recently, he was Assistant Vice President for LPL’s Retirement Consulting Group where he was responsible for these areas. Jason has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from San Diego State University and holds a Series 7, 63 and 65. He is also an Accredited Investment Fiduciary, AIF®.
