Santa Barbara, CA (PRWEB) July 30, 2015 -- Independent Means, the nation’s pre-eminent provider of financial and human capital education for families announces the expansion of its flagship program, the Great Families Orientation to four cities in the Fall of 2015: Santa Barbara, New York City, Boston, and Denver.
The GFO program is a 1 ½ day session devoted to helping thought leader families, family office executives and trusted advisors turn their good intentions for family development into real intention and measurable outcomes. (http://www.independentmeans.com/great-families-orientation-sample-agenda)
“Until recently we held the program at our home base in California,” says Joline Godfrey, IMI’s CEO, “but growing demand caused us to make the program accessible to families in other parts of the country.”
The Great Families Curriculum covers financial fluency and human capital development in the family. Useful for families with and without operating businesses, it includes well over 300 learning modules flexible enough to be customized to the goals and needs of each family, while leveraging the dynamic learning that comes from working with families around the world for over two decades.
“Our programming is a process, not an event,” says Godfrey. “The bespoke nature of our work allows us to design highly relevant programs for families, while drawing in a reserve of deep experience. Over the last few years a new generation of highly sophisticated families has emerged,” Ms. Godfrey observes. “They are intent on being as mindful about family development as they have been about developing their own businesses and non-profit enterprises.”
