Indivisible Chicago to Host #MarchForTruth June 3rd
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) May 30, 2017 -- In response to mounting questions as to whether the White House engaged in a cover-up and obstruction of justice in the Russia investigation, Indivisible Chicago has joined the national March For Truth to demand answers. More than 100 #MarchForTruth events are planned for June 3, 2017 in cities across the United States.
March For Truth is a national coalition of activist groups and grassroots, local organizers demanding that leaders in government defend the rule of law, fully investigate Russian interference in the 2016 election and the role of Donald Trump and his associates, and investigate Donald Trump’s motives for possibly interfering in the investigation.
The demands of the March are simple:
- An independent commission must be established and Congressional investigations should be properly resourced and pursued free of partisan interests;
- As much information should be made available to the public as possible, and as soon as possible;
- If crimes were committed or if collusion is discovered, it must be prosecuted.
The Chicago #MarchForTruth event will be held Saturday, June 3rd at: Federal Plaza, 50 W. Adams St, Chicago, IL from 11:00AM - 1:00PM.
The event will include former Watergate prosecutor Jill Wine-Banks, Rep. Robin Kelly, Rep. Mike Quigley, and others.
