Some people are excellent at coming up with inventions and patents. However, regardless of how amazing a product is, sometimes there needs to be a little flash and circumstance in order to properly market it. Industrial design does just that, effectively making products more aesthetically pleasing to the eye. It is a form of marketing in that different companies need to create an attractive and polished presentation in order to stand out from the crowd, and in order to brand themselves in the minds of the people who will eventually buy their products.
Viewers can see how this effects the economy as a whole, and the type of people who work on these projects. This is an ever-growing field, as people today want both form and function in everything they buy. This upcoming program will shed light on the industry as a whole.
"Front Page" is aired by Public Television and some PBS member stations at their own discretion. It is independently prodyuced by an award-winning team.
